We’ve spent more than a decade in the electric vehicle industry, watching EVs change the way people drive. They’re quick, easy to charge at home or on the road, and cheaper to run than gas cars. But when it comes to short-term use, the experience still falls short. Existing platforms weren’t built for EVs, leaving gaps for both hosts and guests.

Dispatch EV was created to close that gap. We started by building the essentials hosts need most: automatic Tesla app access that begins and ends on schedule, charging session capture and exports so every cost is reimbursed, a single dashboard to manage multiple vehicles across accounts, and location alerts that make it easier to keep track of cars during trips. The first car is free and each additional car is $10 per month, keeping the model simple and accessible.

These fleet tools are only the first step. Our long-term vision is a fully integrated EV marketplace that delivers a better experience for both sides of the trip. Guests will know the car they book is properly charged, even for last-minute reservations. Locating the vehicle will be seamless, and billing for recharging will happen automatically so hosts are never left covering costs and guests never have to guess what they owe. Hosts who share their vehicles through Dispatch will have access to our fleet tools at no additional cost, while those using Dispatch only for management will continue to benefit from the same simple pricing structure.

Our belief is clear. Sharing an EV should be easier and better than renting gas. That’s the future we’re building at Dispatch EV.
